Aviation Chapter Link to this post

In the GB2009 aviation chapter (http://www.eea.europa.eu/publications/emep-eea-emission-inventory-guidebook-2009/part-b-sectoral-guidance-chapters/1-energy/1-a-combustion/1-a-3-a-aviation.pdf), there is an error in p.9, where the smoke number limit is given.

The correct limit. according to ICAO Annex 16 is [83.6*(Foo)^(-0.274)], instead of [83 (Foo)-0.274], as erroneously written in the chapter.

Re: Aviation Chapter Link to this post

Thanks for noting this error.

A corrected chapter has been posted on the main Guidebook site http://www.eea.europa.eu/publications/emep-eea-emission-inventory-guidebook-2009, with the change also noted in the revision log file.
