Expert Panel on Agriculture and Nature

Introduction:

The Agriculture and Nature Panel completes and updates the EMEP/CORINAIR Atmospheric Emissions Inventory Guidebook, Sections 10 (Agriculture) and 11 (Other Sources and Sinks). It also helps to generate national inventories by supplying technical support (calculation sheets).

Meetings:

NEW: The eighth joint meeting of the Expert Group on Ammonia Abatement and the Agriculture and Nature expert panel of the Task Force on Emission Inventories and Projections was held at FAL, Braunschweig , Germany

As in the past, the meeting of the expert panel on agriculture and nature (day 1) was devoted to the updating of the EMEP/CORINAIR Atmospheric Emission Inventory Guidebook. The meeting of the Expert Group on Ammonia Abatement (days 2 and 3) were devoted to research results concerning techniques to measure and reduce ammonia emissions and to updating of the Guidance Document to the 1999 Gothenburg Protocol describing abatement techniques.
